John decided to follow Lucy. She seemed to generally wanted to help him. She hadn't threatened him, or tried to trap him like the skunk Celia. He swam as fast he could, but Lucy kept pulling further ahead. John choked a little on the water, as he struggled to keep up. Lucy turned back, and then smiled. She effortlessly slid back through the water to John, and grabbed him by the hand.
"Here, I'll help you. Sometimes I forget how easy it is for me and how hard it is for a human, " said Lucy, as she helped John swim through the water.
Lucy's hand was unexpectedly warm, and John found himself pulling closer to Lucy's body to share her warmth. Her skin was rough and bumpy, but not as unpleasant as he imagined. He felt himself getting a little excited at her touch. But if Lucy noticed, she didn't show any signs she noticed.
As they neared the shore John was surprised to find a small wooden hut. He didn't know where alligators usually lived, but he expected to find a muddy hole in the ground or something like that. But this was very well built, almost as if it was designed by human hands.
"I think you can take it from here, " said Lucy, as they neared the shore.
She let go of John's hand and shot forward in the water. John was still several feet from the shore when she crested out of the shallow water. As she stood, John saw the water cascading down her body seductively in the moonlight. For although she was an alligator, she was also definitely a woman. She had no hair, and her body was covered in scales, with spines trailing down her thick tail. But she had very wide hips and a very narrow waist, giving her a nice hourglass shape. Her thighs and arms were thick, not exactly muscular, but very curvy and enticing. Her chest was wide, and two large breasts were concealed beneath the scales covering her chest. John felt himself getting erect in spite of the cold water.
Lucy turned and stared at him.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" she asked.
John just flushed red and waded in the shallow water. He couldn't stand up and let her see him like this, naked and erect.
"Oh, the nudity thing.... I've been nude so long it just doesn't bother me anymore. But I'll let you have your privacy. I'll go start a fire and see if I can find something for you to wear. But before you come in my house, you have to get rid of that awful smell. There is a mud pit around the corner. It's fed by a warm spring so the temperature should be just right. I know, I use it often myself. If you soak in there for a while, it should get rid of that smell. I'll be right back."
Lucy opened the door to her cabin and disappeared. John was grateful for her discretion, and quickly ran out of the water and into the mud pit beside her house. Lucy wasn't lying. The mud felt very soothing on his skin. He began to rub it on his arms, then just leaned back and enjoyed the warmth. He began to drift to sleep.
He was woken by Lucy, standing over the pit.
"Nice, isn't it? I just love a warm soak after a long day. That spring is why I built my house here. Mind if I join you?" said Lucy, as she slid into the mud before waiting for an answer.
She submerged her body completely underneath the water, just leaving her snout above it. She drifted towards John until she was just a few feet away from him.
"Relaxing, huh?" she asked. John nodded a little apprehensively. She was very close, and he was a little afraid. Was this all a trick? Was she going to eat him now?
