"Unbelievable" said the old wizard, shaking his head. "Un-godscursed-believable. You had the rock, you lost it, and now my disciple is an amazon giantess who can't work magic. How did you manage to screw this one up so badly?"
"I" Audrey began.
"Oh shut up" the wizard cut her off. "Just be grateful I haven't turned you into a toad. You're fired. If you get the rock, turn Mika back into a wizard's disciple--a MALE wizard's disciple--and then you can get back in touch, WITH THE ROCK. If I ever hear from you again and you haven't done all those things, well, I hope you enjoy catching flies with your tongue." He disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"How'd it go?" Jess asked.
"Not real well" Audrey answered.

"Don't worry, mule-man" boomed Mika, entering the stable. "Mika hasn't forgotten. Is Robin-jenny ready?"
Like a connoisseur enjoying the bouquet of a fine wine, the mule took a long sniff of the air. "I'd say she is!" Robin was braying impatiently. "Sorry you can't talk" said Mika. "Mika can't do magic anymore!" She opened Robin's stall and placed her in front of the mule who had formerly been the old man. "Mika give you some privacy now!"
