As your body pulls in on itself, becoming softer and less defined as your limbs slowly dissolve into a squishy mass you're left reaching for one last profound thought before you lose your form for, as far as you know, could very well be the last time. With the supernaturally strange situation you find yourself only able to form one thought:
What am I nuts? What in heck was I kicking a bear for?
Perhaps this place is even stranger then you thought. Your mind, tired from the stress its been under, allows no further pondering outside a vague hope that this isn't that last thought you'll have. Consciousness gently slips away from you as your body looses its solid state entirely.
Over the course of an unknown amount of time your fears are soothed. You really only have flashes consciousness, if you could even call it that, but you briefly become dimly aware for a second or two. After a jostling you'll come out of your slumber, only to shift your body slightly before slumbering again. Its never enough time to formulate an actual thought. All you know is that you're alive and safe.
Your new life changes radically and all at once. All you know is that the world around you almost seems to flush away leaving a odd feel about the world. You find yourself being pulled away from everything that you know. Slowly and amidst a roaring sound you face touches cold air. More roaring and your head and neck, followed by your body and legs fall into the unknown. Your eyes are shut but you can feel a pair of short stubby back legs, another pair of front paws and a body that, though wet from your birth, has fur. You're nudged over to a warm wall of dry fur and, as you wail confusedly, find your mouth around a nipple. As the warm milk enters your mouth you're finally given enough time to think, though it's difficult. You're not even sure what exactly words are, let alone find the words to describe your situation.
