Tad had invited Amy over to his house to work on their homework together. So far, they'd gotten the homework for their other classes done, and now, they were currently working on their homework for Government. Their teacher had assigned a small paper and said that they could work with anyone in the grade level that shared the same teacher they did as a partner. Because he hadn't had the chance to meet anyone else in his grade level yet, Tad decided to work with Amy. The topic of the paper was a slightly simple one that only required a minimum of three paragraphs, as it wasn't a project. The topic of the paper was "What Would You Do If Weres Are Exposed?"
The two hadn't written much down yet, as they hadn't had much of an idea of what to write yet. Currently, they sat in Tad's room, staring at his laptop.
"So," Tad asked, "What do you think we should write?"
"Well," Amy began, "We can't just hide again if weres are exposed. We'd need to show the world that we're not like the movies and the old stories."
"Agreed," Tad commented, "We'd have to show them that we're just like them...in a way."
"But how would we show them that?," Amy asked.
"We'd have to show them we lead normal lives just like they do," Tad explained, "We'd tell them that the kids go to school, the adults have jobs, and other things that prove we aren't completely animal."
"There'd probably need to be an ambassador of some sorts," Amy said.
"Yeah," Tad said, beginning to type, "I think I've got something."
"If Weres Are Exposed"
By Tad Decker and Amy Howler
Recent events have caused weres around the world to go into a panic. Moon Lake is a sanctuary for weres, and it has been for hundreds of years now. Because of it's laws, weres have managed to keep their secret, but there's no telling if one day the truth will be exposed to the rest of the world.
If weres should be exposed, there's no doubt that some of the public will go into a panic. Weres can't just continue to hide for the rest of their lives. We'd need to show the world that weres aren't just mindless, lust-filled animals like everyone assumes them to be. The public would need to know that weres lead normal lives: the kids go to school, the adults have jobs, and how we aren't completely animals.
Of course, weres would need some sort of ambassador to bridge the two worlds so the world can understand how weres live ad what we do when we're in our were forms. We'd have to show them how weres and normal in Moon Lake have lived in harmony for years. If we can do it in Moon Lake, there's no saying that weres can live in harmony with the rest of the world.
