Hours later, yellow sunlight begins to shine over the world, lighting up the darkness and causing the things that lurk in the night to recede back into the darkest corners of the world.
Not for you though, you open yours eyes and yawn. You start stretching your limbs like a cat feeling satisfaction at the popping sound in your bones.
You give another yawn and sit up on your vine bed, having awoken from a comfortable though still cold night sleep.
You examine your surroundings remembering everything that happened yesterday, including Enven's death which filled you with grief. You eventually force yourself to think of something else as you were able to go outside hunting for any berries in the forest remembering you were quite hungry last night.
Then you realize, that the hunger was gone. Not just faded but completely gone.
Strange. You shake your head clearing your mind and you begin your next task. You stand up and examine your body. Your sleepware was in rags, it had not survived well after escaping from the demon infested temple. Barely any part of it was fully intact, holes and scraps everywhere. You give a sigh. It's not like it's worth it trying to preserve them if they're already broken.
You then strip yourself completely naked, leaving the remanents of your clothes in a corner. Now you were completely nude, sheath and balls in full view for anyone to see and your tail whishing back and forth. You figured you'd be okay as long as you made sure not to simulate your member.
After stretching a bit more you got to work. This old ruinwas in decent shape for being unattended for who knows how long so you made a mental list of what you would need to do. First off was the structure, you could sense that there were many points of structural instability at certain points so using magic you create thick sturdy vines around the temple inside and out reinforcing the building and making sure there were not chances of it falling apart anytime soon. You weren't a trained construction worker but you did have some experience in high school in Construction class.
You started to feel very tired as you did this. Your combination of inexperience and demonic nature made it very difficult to work with plants. Already you felt as if you had just ran a mile. You gasp and groan as you catch your breath and after feeling your energy return back to you, you continue.
Luckily for you there was still a useable broom in the storage room which you use to begin cleaning the floor, cleaning what could be centuries of dust, dirt, and who knows what else.
This takes longer than the previous task and takes about four hours of sunlight, finishing at about three in the afternoon. You sweep the floor, destroy spider webs, dismantling the old unusable furniture and storing it in a corner for use as firewood. You managed to make the area somewhat cleaner though you did see a few loose ends at some points.
Finally you feel like you've already started making this place more homely and you sit back down on your bed, enjoying the pleasure of a days work. Your stomach rumbled as you sat back down, you were getting hungry again and it won't disappear this time. Yawning, you exit the temple and go out into the forest looking for berries. You made sure to examine any you found carefully, you weren't native to this world so it was possible that a normal looking berry could be insanely poisonous.
To help you carry more, you create a small basket made of leaves using both magic and skill eventually gaining enough berries and fruits to make a salad. By now you had gone quite a distance from your hom,me, though you weren't particularly worried, your magic of nature seemed to give you better navigation in forests and woodlands.
Searching for berries you eventually decide to head back. Then suddenly you hear something... a commotion, a noise... a group of people! You knew you had gone a distance from your temple but you could easily retrace your steps using your senses. You find a tree and climb it to the very top, wanting to get a better view. On top the tree you had a much better vantage point and saw a collection of wooden buildings and houses. A village! A big one at that. Fortified stone walls circled the town and a iron gate closed the entrance. You could see gentle wisps of smoke leave from the chimneys of several houses but then at the far side of town you saw something. You had to squint but you saw a large mob of people there, but it wasn't just humans that you could see.. there was something else. You couldn't quite make it out.... then you realized with a stab of fear entering your heart.
