"I'm mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take it anymore!" (Moon Lake of Earth 2)

{{Our episode title is also a classic line from the movie Network.—tmw.}}

NOTE: THERE IS VIOLENCE ON THE HORIZON FOR MOON LAKE, BUT IT IS ONLY IN THE PLANNING STAGE HERE.

Not knowing about the request were-lion Queen Regina Talbot just made to her husband...
To say that Fredrick (Freddie the Shark) Parker was angry as he left the Sheriff's office would be a serious understatement.
Not even those closest to the mobster had seen him this mad as he walked back to his car and said to his men, "We need somewhere private to talk."
"Where boss? We were evicted from the hotel," the man on Freddie's right reminded him.
"Which might be a good thing, in case the cops got a warrant to bug the place. Drive around till you find a nice large parking lot where we can stay for a bit without attracting attention," advised Freddie, getting into the front passenger seat of his vehicle.
His driver ran around and got behind the wheel.
With seat belts fastened, Freddie's car took off with the other following.
His "force" had currently been reduced to just the men between the two vehicles, but that wouldn't deter the Shark.

At the far end of a grocery store parking lot, Freddie's car and its companion parked next to each other, with all the men getting out and milling between the two vehicles.
"All right. Listen up," said Freddie, surprised that counting himself, there was only 7 of them left. "First and foremost. If any of you happen to see Chelnik, tell him I want to see him immediately."
"Sure boss," his men all agreed.
"Secondly, you two," continued Freddie, addressing his computer technicians, "I want you to get on your laptops and find out what's happening to my assets all of a sudden. I don't care if it is a Sunday, let alone a holiday weekend. Get a hold of our accountants back in L.A. to help if you have to, but I want answers and I want them now!"
"Yes, sir!" both technicians said, wondering if they should retrieve their laptops out of the car now or wait until this meeting was over.
"Now then. I am sick and tired of this hick town. Whatever the fuck is wrong with this place, I'm not taking their shit any more!" cursed Freddie.
"What do you have in mind boss?" one man asked.

"I nicked this out of the hotel lobby before we went to see Daniel," answered their leader, pulling a folded up flyer out of his pants pocket. "Moon Lake is having some kind of Labor Day picnic tomorrow. Practically the whole town's gonna turn out for it."
"So?" asked Freddie's driver.
"So," said Freddie, turning to look at the man, "while just about everybody and their brother will be there having a good time, WE'RE going to stage a jail break! We'll bust into the Sheriff's office, grab my kid, and get the hell out of this backwater dive before anyone's the wiser!"
"Just the 7 of us?" one man asked.
"We'd be eight whenever Chelnik gets back," commented another, not knowing the Russian mobster's fate. "Hell, the way he fights, Chelnik should be counted as at least 2," which got a chuckle from some of the others.
"I've got other plans for Chelnik," was all Freddie would say, not telling the others about his personal bodyguard being a wanted war criminal. Chelnik had become a liability, and Freddie would kill the man himself if he got the chance. "But we do need back up," agreed the Shark, as he got out his cell phone.

A couple of moments later, a gruff voice on the other end of the line said, "Yeah."
"It's me. Listen up," began the Shark. "I want all available muscle who can get to this friggin' Moon Lake by car armed and loaded for war by dawn tomorrow morning."
"That's a pretty tall order boss," pointed out the man on the other end of the phone.
"I know, but carry out my orders, now!" Freddie told his man. "I'll be sending the location of where we'll all meet up by midnight tonight. I'm changing the plan, because we're breaking my boy out of jail in the morning, and I don't care who gets in the way. This dumb town is going to find out just how dangerous it is to cross Freddie the Shark!"
