Kayla turned her back on the bowl and let James there snapping the flies with its new slimy tongue. She went to the other part of the tent, near the desk where there was a pile of old books she had used to practice her spells. She remembered the talk her father gave her outside of the tent.
"If he was a simple talking frog there's no deal, Kayla. If he never was human he can't make us turn him back into one after he accomplishes his part of the deal"
"But he was a human" she didn't got it at first. Her father scratched his long goatee and gave her a wicked smile.
"We know that, what if he doesn't"
She was now going to follow the others. She got her wand out of her pocket and read the spell under her breath. She turned around and pointed the want at James.
"Oblivium vidis, buffis semper" she said.
A bright light filled the tent.
James was confused with what was happening. In his mind all the memories of his life passed in front of him: his mother, sister, first birthday, Mike - his elementary bully giving him an indian burn...his tadpole brother...What? That wasn't right, or was it? james kept on trying to remember more and more: his pond, his frog mother, the first time he was chased by a heron. He had...he had always been a frog for all of his life. That was it, James had always been a frog a nothing else.
