Sarah and Malice happily came to school the Monday after Bash and Bell were born. Julia's pregnancy had been a surprise to the two sisters, even if Malice was an adopted sister, but it had become something they were both happy over, and both had agreed that Bash and Bell were just the cutest things ever. They were quick to find their small group, minus Simon. Malice was saddened that Simon couldn't be there and she couldn't see him during the day, but then he was also a Senior and the Seniors had graduated. The underclassmen still had school for another week or so, and Malice figured she could make do with seeing Simon after school for the moment.
"Well, something exciting must have happened," Jessica commented as Sarah and Malice approached, "given all the wagging."
Sarah and Malice only smiled as they wagged their tails happily. Bash and Bell were the cutest puppies ever and they arrived happy and healthy, which made the Wesleys very happy. Neither Sarah nor Malice could hide that and neither did they want to. They wanted to share with the world that Julia had given birth to two adorable puppies.
"Something did," Sarah said as they all moved to walk in through the front doors. They were early enough that they weren't in a rush to get to their first period classes, so they could afford to move in and talk for a little while at least, "Mom had her puppies."
A few smiles soon formed as the others looked to them.
"She did?" Abby asked.
"Yes," Malice said nodding, "On Mother's Day, no less."
"Sounds like the perfect day to have a baby," Samson commented.
"Mother's Day wasn't invented for women to have their babies on," Sophie corrected, "more to honor the mothers in our lives."
"But there's still the fact that in this case... Mrs. Wesley gave birth on mother's day," Samson answered.
"How's your mom doing?" Roger wondered as they made their way toward the general area where their lockers were.
"She's doing well now, resting after everything," Sarah answered, "though, the doctors want to keep her at the hospital for a couple of days to rest and recover."
"Makes sense," Roland commented, "How are your siblings? Are they okay?"
He was curious and did hope things were fine. Roland was something of a newcomer. He'd known Sophie, Jessica, Abby, and Sarah to a degree through Middle School, but it wasn't much more than seeing them in the hall and waving as they walked by. However, after the outbreak and the group becoming the face of Animalia Ambassadoria, he'd come to see something more in Sophie, and thus why he'd introduced himself back on Valentines Day at the High School dance. Since then, he'd been warmly welcomed and he did feel welcome. Sarah and Malice seemed nice and he didn't want there to be anything wrong with their family.
"They're fine," Sarah answered.
"And are the cutest things ever!" Malice declared her tail still wagging in excitement.
"Two boys or two girls?" Sophie asked.
"Can we come see them?" Jessica asked with Roger nodding beside her.
"One boy and one girl," Sarah answered, "The boy is named Bash and has color markings like my mom and the girl is named Bell and is all white."
"All white?" Jessica asked her eyes wide and nose twitching quickly in curiosity. "Like me?"
"Yes," Sarah nodded, "She's all white, but she is still a Siberian Husky."
"And the cutest puppy ever!" Malice added.
"Well... congratulations," Abby smiled over to Sarah and Malice, noting that Travis was moving close to Sarah and his tail was now wagging as quickly as theirs were. Travis had been quiet, but he was happy that Sarah was happy.
"Can we visit and say hi?" Travis eventually asked as looked over to Sarah.
"A brief hello wouldn't be too bad," Sarah spoke, "Malice and I will be going by after school and you can all come with and see just how cute they are!"
There were a few nods, but by that time the five minute warning bell rang and they all had to make their way to their respective morning classes.
