It was very hard to believe it, but the IAC was only 23 days away. Because of this, the first arrivals had begun to show up.
Most of them were middle class members of society, who could only afford the basic ticket prices or the Preoder packages. Fortunately, Animalia only saw them as people who would be getting sneak peeks of the Games.
There were also many people who were seeking to be part of Project Phoenix who weren't able to be part of the first "wave". Others sought to become part of the Animalia Reinvention Program in order to start their lives over away from bad choices. These people discovered that, while the costs for joining the ARP wasn't cost-prohibitive, it was still rather expensive.
There were also many tourists from well overseas, not just Europe or Latin America. There were also people from Africa, Asia, and Australia, just to name a few. It would have been a major security nightmare if, not only SWAT and Homeland Security, but the Navy SEALS, GSG-9 and several brigades of Israeli Commandos helping out with security. They were not only checking baggage and running checkpoints, but also keeping in contact with Skye-Eye units and investigating any strange or suspicious activity. The combined forces already stopped four would-be terrorist strikes, and several arrests were made.
Horizon Light Hospital had already got the requested security details for the Labs and the Maternity Wards. The visible presence of the security details were actually an effective deterrent for would-be virus thieves or hostage takers. One surprising security offer were from former hackers who used their skills to detect hack attempts in return for membership in Animalia. The old saying "it takes a thief to catch a thief" would apply to hackers as well. They had already stopped several hack attempts to obtain the schematic for the virus, so Clara was somewhat willing to offer amnesty for them, as long as they were kept under watch for a certain time.
While the official start of the IAC wasn't until the first of July, it was a good chance for both visitors and Animalians to socialize with each other. It was also a chance for a lot of anthropomorphic sexual myths to be debunked, especially hypertrophilia.
