You wait for the day to end. It was only afternoon when you made the switch, but you have a full day to fill. It's Sunday, and you think you'll need a while to recover from all this craziness, so you call work. You tell them you're feeling under the weather and need a few days to recover. Thankfully you never call in sick, so there shouldn't be much of a fuss.
You watch some movies and read a book, and although it seems to take three times as long as it should, night finally comes. You get ready for bed and look at yourself in the mirror. You can't get used to how these huge ears look. You didn't need an extra hurdle to dating after all. There was finally a guy you had been seeing for a few weeks, and you're not sure he'll be thrilled to see you like this. But after all, just a few more hours and you can fix this. You can fix your hair later.
Climbing into bed you have a restless sleep. You wake up in the morning, and when you go to the bathroom and look in the mirror, your groggy mind is once again surprised to see who is looking back at you. You grab the ring, relieved, and get ready to switch back. But you can't remember what the man on TV looked like. You can't remember his name either. You're starting to panic a little, and the more you panic, the further the image drifts from your mind. You check the news station's website, and can't find a copy of the interview. Crap. What are you going to do now?
