So since Terra was nowhere to be found,Sarah got to work on Alex with the lipstick
nail polish,hair dye,bras,panties etc
and soon had Alex looking like a passeable imitation of
her own daughter.
The scientist told Alex to act like Terra as much as she could
and then the two took a walk down to that new Med Store.
In they walked and all the Chinese staff were nowhere to be found,because they obviously
knew who Dr Sarah Quartermass was,and didn't want to be the
hapless salesperson who got served by her with a
Patent Infringement Lawsuit.
Up and down the aisles marched Sarah,and seemingly
taking notes on her notepad.
In actuality Sarah had quickly figured out the new Med Store
was a bare bones outfit
and jf she sent her
high priced
New York lawyer to sue them,
the Lawyer would be the only winner.
So Sarah banged away on the counter service bell till a trembling
old chinese man,the owner ,came out from behind the curtains to
take his punishment.
"5% of Gross Revenue will make me happy" said Sarah
"You know if I send Mr Snodgrass after you it will be more like
a 25% cut"
So the two agreed and the old Chinese guy openned up the cash register till
and gave Sarah her 5% of the previous days sales.
That done the two shook hands and became partners.
Sarah and Alex headed out back onto the street of the fishing port town and took Alex to a coffee shop perched on the docks.
