Josh looked outside his apartment in total shock. Before his eyes was...well...what appeared to be a dragon, except they walked on two legs in a similar manner to humans, and were much smaller than what would qualify as a "Dragon".
Josh couldn't see the dragons face, as they were holding a massive shopping bag with both of their arms, struggling to hold it up. Josh quickly returned to his senses and did the polite thing to do. Ask if they needed help. Upon hearing this, the dragon quickly jumped backwards, dropping the grocery bag in complete surprise. "AAAAH!! WHO'S THERE?!" The dragon asked in the loudest possible scream Josh had ever heard.
This sudden reaction also prompted Josh to jump back slightly, not expecting the dragon to react in such a way.
Both the human and dragon stared for what felt like several minutes, until Josh broke the silence. "Erm...my name is Josh, it's...a pleasure to meet you?" The dragon seemed to calm down quickly after knowing Josh's name. "So you're my apartmentmate?" The dragon asked. Josh could tell by their voice the creature in front of him was male. "I suppose we ar-wait, apartmentmate?" "I feel like the word roommate feels a little to personal and confined. So I like the word apartmentmate in this situation better. My name is Luc by the way." Luc replied, outstretching an arm for a handshake. Josh took the dragon's hand in own, and as soon as he did so, Luc began to shake violently with both hands, bringing Josh's whole body up and down due to the force. After they were done, Josh was stumbling a tiny bit, dizzy from the rollercoaster like experience of the handshake with Luc.
"Oh, sorry about that. I've never properly greeted someone with a handshake before."
Once the introductions were finished, Josh took a long gander at Luc. Luc looked like...well, a dragon. He had light blue scales adorning his entire body, along a huge tail and moderately sized wings for a dragon. Two horns were placed on each side of his head, while a mane went from the top of his head down his neck and spine, eventually running down his tail to the tip. The one detail that did catch Josh's attention the most is how tall he was. Luc's height seemed to be slightly smaller than an average man, maybe around the height of a middle aged woman, but not shorter either. "Excuse me Josh, I've got...work...tomorrow, so I have to get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning." Luc told Josh. The dragon then proceeded to go to one of the rooms in the apartment, and what Josh assumed was going to sleep. Josh looked out where Luc dropped his groceries, and saw a huge pile of dropped fruit and vegetables. Luv must've forgotten to ice them up. Josh sighed and started picking them up before going to bed himself. What a strange day it's been already.
