The body bros were about to open the front door to go to the party when they heard a car pull into the driveway: Nate's dad was home! Even though Daryll knew about the secret room, he couldn't see his own child with a new body, let alone two new heads.
The bros quickly went back down the basement stairs, running past the boxes and other things in the basement before getting back inside the room. With the special mist on their skin and a locking car heard outside, the bros had no time to lose. They took off their new clothes first--the boots, the pants, the shirt, the gloves, the shoulder pads, and the chest plate. As the garage door closed, all of the clothes were quickly put back into the trunks before stuffing them back under the bed--maybe Daryll wouldn't notice if some things were in the wrong place. Next the bros grabbed a towel from the room's bathroom--apparently, if Daryll had changed his body, he did not want to risk Nate finding out through the bathroom upstairs--and wiped the face paint off their three heads before tossing the towel out into one of the boxes in the basement.
Then a doorknob was turning upstairs; Daryll was about to come inside! It was a good thing that Nate had locked that door before they ran back downstairs. The head accessories came off next: the gold collars, the jaw brace, the mask, the goggles, and the dreadlocks were all put back. This left the large body--first Nate put his own head back on his own body, then pulled the arms and legs off of Benedict and Nate's, and put them back on the shelves. As the sound of a key in a lock echoed from upstairs, Nate promised the two heads that he would come back tomorrow and bring them back to life with him. The two agreed, and then became lifeless again when Nate pulled them off the shoulders, their Nate-like faces disappearing like a dimming light bulb.
Nate put the two heads and torso back just as Daryll walked into the house upstairs. Nate quickly grabbed his own clothes, turned off the room's light, and shut the bookcase just as he heard footsteps from upstairs. With no way to go upstairs without being seen, Nate simply ran to a far corner of the basement and hid under the pool table. He crouched down and looked across the room toward the stairs, watching his dad come down the stairs. Daryl didn't see Nate, put assumed that he had gone to bed while forgetting to turn off the TV. Nate watched as Daryll crossed to the bookcase and went inside the hidden room. As soon as the foggy door closed, Nate saw his chance. He got out from under the pool table, crossed to the stairs, and quietly--but quickly--went back up. Daryl would be down in that room changing his body for some time, so Nate was able to get back to his room without Daryll Knowing that he had been there. As Nate lay down in his bed, he closed his eyes, wondering what else he could do to his ten-year-old body when tomorrow (Saturday) came.
