Matt was chilling in his room on a lazy Saturday morning when the doorbell rang. He got up and went to the front door. When he opened it, he came face-to-face with a delivery man holding a package.
"Are you Matthew Spencer?" the delivery man asked.
Matt nodded.
"Please sign here," the delivery man said as he pushed a clipboard towards Matt. Matt signed it, but he was confused. He didn't recall ordering anything recently, but the package was addressed to him, so what could this be?
Matt returned the clipboard and took the package to his room. He opened it to find a CD, and some weird device that had a USB cable. There was a letter inside too. Matt picked it up and read it:
Dear Mr Matthew Spencer,

The Chronivac 4.0 is the newest in our series of revolutionary products allowing users to transform themselves or others into almost anything imaginable. Matt was really confused now. He had never heard of anything like this, but it seemed too elaborate to be just a prank. Matt shrugged. Perhaps he should see if it worked. He inserted the CD in his PC, and connected the portable emitter. A program window appeared, proudly displaying the logo "Chronivac 4.0". Below the logo, there was a button that read "Scan for targets". Matt clicked on the button, and a spinning loading icon appeared. Only a few seconds later, his name appeared on the screen. Curious, Matt clicked on his name. The screen unexpectedly filled with details about himself, alongside a 3D model with an uncanny resemblance to him. The details, however, were most unsettling.
Name: Matthew Spencer
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 130 lb
Hair color: Brown
Eye color: Blue
...
The list continued, but every single item was disturbingly accurate, down to even the small details. Matt was shocked. How did the program know so much about him? Could the letter be telling the truth about what the program could do? While Matt pondered over the possibilities, more names appeared on the screen. He recognized the names as his dad's, his mom's... It appeared that the Chronivac could detect them too.
Matt had a realization about how powerful the Chronivac could be. How was he going to use it?
