Colin was in a numb darkness. He had senses, but could make little sense of them. He could've move, but he had no idea what he was moving, at least it was nothing like his arms and legs. The combination of trying to physically adapt to his new body and the trauma of the situation, Colin did his best to cope with the situation.
Colin was also another late 20's, average guy. Little slower then Harold, he was unfortunate that he changed beyond what he figured was gas worthy. Luckily, emergency workers were able to recognized that he was a changee, and with a combination of a coping numbness, Colin was content to just be jostled and carried around.
To any outside, Colin was a slightly-larger-than-human, leech creature. At 10 feet long, it was symmetrical to the point that no one could tell if there was a "belly" or not. It was widest at its "mouth" at 2 feet, with it gradually becoming smaller to a tail opening of a few inches. Colin's skin seemed to be a series of rubbery, overlapping segments, covered in some sort of self-exuding slime. One would argue Colin was some sort of worm creature, if it wasn't for the obvious consideration of his mouth.
With partial gums expose, or whatever counted for Colin's current inside biology, uneven rows of large, sharp teeth pointed straight out from its open maw. They got smaller as the rows continued inside, and one could slight movement form them as Colin idled. The slime Colin exuded seemed to come out greast from his maw.
Other then his appearance, Colin was currently laid out in an uneven manner. Ever since he finished transforming, even to arriving at The Zoo, Colin had done nothing. There was some token effort on his part initially, but the numbness and nothing responding at it should caused him to give up. He had been "fed" a few times already though, and that got him thinking. "Thinking" is actually something Colin could do, and that scared him. Weren't all natives just mindless, or very least, non-sentient animals? He could think, he was himself relatively, but how could he show others?
With nothing better to do, Colin kept thinking...
