Dog food for Kat's dog.
Dan couldn't believe what he was hearing! panicking, he begins thrashing about trying to stay off the truck.
" whoa boy, calm down. It'll be alright " the farmer calmly explained.
" it'll be alright!? Maybe for you but I'm the one going in" dan thought to himself.
Just then, two more workers came around and managed to push dan onto the truck.
" I'm sorry, but I need the money. You're just a dumb horse anyway. It's not like you can understand this " farmer Dave said to dan.
" BUT I AM A HUMAN! " Dan tried explaining to the farmer, but he couldn't understand him
" anyway, lets get a move on. I wanna make it there by the end of the day. "
Farmer Dave got in his truck and started driving towards the slaughter house.
" my only hope in kat..." dan thought to himself

The family arrives home and checks their calls, and rushes back out the door, trying to save dan.
They frantically drive trying to beat farmer Dave to the slaughterhouse, hoping to get there in time.
They arrive and decide it would be best to split up.
" me and your father will check with the main office. you look for dan in the back, " mom yelled.
" we'll find him. I know it " said kat running to the back.
" DAN!? DAN!? " yelled kat
Kat hears a faint voice in the background yelling " KAT! I'm over here "
She follows the voice, which leads her to the far back of the building where she finds dan in a pathway with other horses being pushed into the slaughtering room.
" kat, thank goodness you're here " dan sighed
" get me out of here "
" hey little bro, how's it going? " Kat said while playfully leaning against the railing "
" oh, I'm peachy! " screams dan
" seems like your in quite the pickle... hey, did you know I got a puppy? I named him dan. Mom gave it to me after you left to cheer me up. " kat said
" terrific, now get me out of her " dan muddered
" here's the thing, she never let me have a puppy, she hates dogs but she let me have it Because of you not being home. So if you come home, she might take my puppy away. " kat said checking her phone not paying much attention.
" what are you saying " dan said nervously.
" I'm saying I'd rather have the puppy than you. " kat saided grinning.
Kat scrolls through her phone contacts and clicks on mom.
" mom, we're too late. He already went through " kat said with a sobbing voice.
" alright, I'll come up to the main office in a minute. Okay, bye. "
" what are you doing " dan screamed!
" it kinda obvious. It's not like I want this to be your fate. It's just... the puppy is so cute. Hey, maybe I'll purchase you as dog food for him. "
A worker walked up to mat leaning on the fence.
" can I help you ms? "
Kat looks at dan and pauses for a moment...
" yes, actually. This horse is holding up the line. He might need some encouragement " kat said patting his mane.
" alright, will do. But you should be leaving this area. It's not a place for a young woman. " said the worker, grabbing dan's muzzle. Dragging him along.
" okay, goodbye dan. Enjoy what little time you have left. " Kat said while smacking his ass goodbye. She turned around and took a selfie of her and dan and started to walk out "
" KAT, WAIT PLEASE! " dan yelled while being dragged into the next room.
