Well if the Cloud People thought King Druul was bad
they were in for a rude shock as
within hours
various agreements King Druul had
set in place with
neighbouring Kingdoms
came into force and soon the rebel dissidents
were rounded up and
either
a) went to dungeons across the realm
b)simply vanished
c) were taken to the woods and got a Cloud Razor shot to the base
of the neck and were
buried in unmarked graves.
King Druuls adopted son
Prince Aeyric,a eagle/pegusi hybrid
had no human failings
but crushed the seeds of the rebellious natives
with his iron talons..
Issac,Ilvir,Marry and Slar
managed to avoid execvution or
arrest
for a fortnight but one by
one were taken alive
by the new
invigorated
Sky Dragoon Army,one
in which
the mere-dragons had
a larger role to play
due to King Aeyric the Firsts
realization he
had need of their co-operation
to cement his rule.
And so it was that Slar was offered a choice
a) die horribly by torture as himself
b) take a magical potion that would turn him into a
mere dragon and thus
a new life and a escape clause
from
option A
Slar chose Option B and so
it was a mere dragon who stepped into the witness box
a witness for the prosecution
in the trial of
Issac,Ilvir and Marry
