While all this was happening, John, Sharon, and Julie went on the tour of the park. All the while they were excited at everything they saw and couldn't wait to try out everything. It briefly flashed across Sharon's mind to call Derrick to see how he was doing, but she decided against it.
A few fun-filled hours later, the trio returned to the hotel lobby , eager to relax in the room. "Your room is ready now." the beautiful receptionist said, indicating their bags on a cart. "Did our son go up to the room already?" John asked. The receptionist gave a sly smile but shook her head. "No, he's still in the spa...getting a fresh start." She said cryptically before indicating the bags again.
The family made its way up to the room, which looked like a large, fancy apartment. White marble, intricate designs, and high-end appliances. While they were unpacking Sharon couldn't help but stare at Derrick's bag and wonder. She was about to go down to the spa and check on him when Julie came busting into the room. "They're having a show downstairs right now! You can watch a Cerberus give birth!" She cried excitedly.
John and Sharon sighed. Their daughter had always had strange tastes. Derrick forgotten for now, the family left their room and headed down to the lobby to get in line for the show.
They were lead into a room with platformed benches and a window that overlooked a sunken area where a gigantic dog, obviously very pregnant, lay. The three heads whined and twisted around, deep in labor and wracked with pain. A few hotel attendants were about, doing various tasks such as comforting the heads or getting supplies ready.
Then, a familiar looking spa attendant with long brown hair entered, patting Cerberus on the side. Lifting it's heads and giving a knowing look, it signaled it's approval. Slumping back down, it began.
The dog's belly twisted and heaved before weight slid down it and the first puppy, male, slipped out. It's fur was matted with fluid and it squirmed pitifully on the floor as it's three puppyish heads blinked with confusion.
The size of a great Dane newborn, it would surely grow to the gigantic size of it's mother when it reached adulthood. It was guided on wobbly paws to a large bed where it lay, shivering and mewling. The process repeated itself three more times as a trip emerged, two females and one more male. They were all lead to the same bed and laid there. Cerberus lumbered to her paws and sauntered over to the bed, motherly licking her new puppies, who seemed to slightly recoil at her touch.
As the brunette spa attendant walked over and patted Cerberus on her side, one of the puppies lifted its three heads up at the window. It's six eyes locked with Sharon's two and she let out an audible gasp.
"Derrick!?" she cried.
