Aisha wracked her brain thinking of every detail of her ride. The pressure was starting to give her a mild headache when something finally clicked.
"Wait!" Aisha's eyes snapped open. "I think I have an idea! It's a bit of a long shot, but-"
"What is it? What happened?" Mary interrupted, ecstatic. "Did you remember something important?" Mary was just as excited to find out how Aisha's changes had happened as Aisha herself, and Mary also happened to be less bogged down by pessimism.
"Yeah, maybe." Aisha replied. "Shortly before my bust started growing, the girl on the bus actually pushed past me."
"Okaay..." Mary squinted. "So?"
"I think her chest might have brushed against the medallion on the bus." Aisha explained, watching Mary's reaction.
Mary's eyes widened, her realization dawning. "So you think that might have triggered it?"
Aisha shrugged, fidgeting with the hem of her t-shirt absentmindedly. "I mean... it could be. We don't know-"
"But we do have a lead, and that's better than nothing. Let's see... was it like, her direct skin that touched it?" Mary asked, staring at the item in her friend's hand.
Aisha shook her head. "No, she was wearing a low cut but I remember her shirt was what contacted the medallion. At least, what little shirt she was wearing." she grumbled. "Actually, it might have been her bra that touched the medallion." Aisha realized. "I mean, it was pretty exposed..."
Mary nodded. "It could be the clothes. Have you let the medallion touch any other clothes since then?" She asked.
Aisha shook her head once more. "Nope. I probably came close to it while I was cleaning up your mess, but I don't remember it ever actually touching clothes." Aisha gestured to her t-shirt. "Of course, I've been wearing the medallion, so it's been rubbing against my shirt and suit pretty much most of the time anyways."
"That still doesn't rule out the idea." Mary interjected. "Maybe it's just that there's no take-backsies or something. Because it's only touched other shirts, right? We should try some other clothing like... uh..."
