You turn to the cop dog and ask, “Would you mind me taking you back to my apartment, so I can try to figure out how to use these keys better?” The dog stands there quiet for a second with a quizzical look on his face before he hesitantly nods. You smile and pat his head glad that he is willing to work with you, although you think he probably realized that he did not really have a say in the matter because to the rest of the world you were the master and he was nothing but a pet. You grab the dog’s, former cop’s, uniform and throw it into the car as well as the case of dog treats figuring it will come in useful later. You also take a closer look at the officer’s uniform and see that his last name is Patterson. Patterson hops into the car and sits in the passenger seat as you get in and close the door. You hear Keith, who has climbed from the trunk to the back seat where he is laying, as he begins to growl at you for getting him into this mess.
“I know, that you are angry but really I’m doing the best I can to fix this so just calm down”, you try to ease Keith’s anger, but does not seem to work as he starts to stand up and show his teeth. “Ok, listen hear buddy! If you don’t calm down this instant I will turn these keys back on you and I promise that I will turn you into a bitch! I will also let Officer Patterson here fuck you like you tried to do to him when he was a female in heat!”
Your outburst seems to work as it scared Keith into laying back down and put his paws over his muzzle as he let out a sigh. Satisfied you start up your new old car and put it into drive as Patterson lets out a low growl. You look at him and realize, “Oh, I forgot! You’re a cop and I’m not wearing my seatbelt.” You buckle up and turn back to Patterson, “Sorry about that but I will be sure to abide by all the rules since you are with me Pat.” The dog gives you a confused look and you explain, “Oh well since I don’t know your first name, Pat is going to be your doggie name.” Pat rolls his eyes as you put the car into gear and drive off.
You reach your apartment building and remember that your building does not permit animals as you see the large sign next to the front door. “Oh, crap I forgot! I guess I will just have to sneak the two of you in.” You let the dogs out of the car and grab Pat’s old uniform as well as the treats and head into the building. You manage to make it all the way to the fourth floor, your and Keith’s floor, and to your apartment door before you are discovered by your neighbors the Bell family.
Their two little boys, Lincoln and Levi spot Keith and Pat and run up to them yelling, “Doggies!” Their parents turn around to see what the commotion is and see you standing there trying to smuggle two dogs into your apartment.
You manage to get your door open for Keith and Pat to run it as the mother runs at you and the father pulls out his phone.
“Jerry, call the land lord”, the mother yells as she grabs her children’s arms and pulls them back.
“I already am Amy”, Jerry replies as he holds the phone up to his ear.
“I always knew you two ruffians were no good trouble makers”, Amy yells thrusting her finger into your face as she steps between you and her kids.
You close the door to your apartment trying to conceal the two dogs as you beg, “Please let me explain! I promise you this isn’t as it seems. Although you most likely won’t believe me even if I do tell you.”
“Hello, Mr. Huff this is Jerry Bell I am calling to inform you that those two frat boy neighbors of mine have brought two mangy animals into the building and are hiding them in their apartment”, Jerry informs your land lord.
You start to panic with all the noise of hearing Keith and Pat in the apartment barking, the kids hollering, and Mrs. Bell screaming at you. You clench the keys in your fist.
