"Right!" Halton boomed to get Rick's attention, also making Emily really confused. They all were inside the house for barely a minute before Halton started booming. "Since you've already started using the camera twice now, it's best to start off with our lesson".
Rick was confused immediately "Wait, you haven't told us what we are supposed to be doing with the camera yet".
Halton just looked at Rick, a look that said "Are you really that stupid?", a look that really only a cat could make and get away with. "I was getting there, Rick. Just be patient".
Rick didn't want to be patient, he had witnessed his girlfriend being turned into a baby. But this was his only hope to get her back, so he had to be patient.
"Our first lesson is about change... OKAY, well, all of our lessons are about change". Halton turned swiftly to Rick to face him. "This lesson is about the change from an animal to another, and since, annoyingly, I'm the only "animal" here, you can test this on me".
"But wait, what would happen to you? I don't want to mes-"
Halton immediately shushed him. "This isn't the first time that I've been an animal. Honestly, you can do this. Now I want you to concentrate on an animal. Any animal at all".
Rick was incredibly nervous, but he had to save Emily from being a baby. He moved his hand towards the flash.
"Keep focusing on that animal, come on".
He felt his finger touch the surface of the button.
"Yes, that's right! Now, concentrate!"
He didn't know if he could do it.
"Con..."
He has having his doubts.
"...cen..."
There must be another way.
"...TRATE!"
Rick pressed the flash button.
