The Magic Shop

A battle with Morgan LeFay

added by O 4 years ago I O

“Well Josh,” Kellie asked. “What exactly is the plan?”

Josh squirmed slightly, still rooted to his chair, this had not been his intention to inadvertently cross a powerful sorceress. All he wanted to do was get to know a girl he hadn’t the courage to ask out. Sighing he looked at the woman, hoping she would understand. “Okay here’s the thing,” he said quietly. “The truth is I’m not the most confident guy out there. I suck talking with women and those I do talk with I often times end up in the friend zone with. I’ve gotten to know Katie a little over the years and I always found her not only interesting but attractive.

“So you decided to bewitch her and make her fall for you,” Kellie snorted.

“No damn it,” he countered. “No. All I wanted was the confidence to talk with her and a little bit of charm to get her to notice me. When I met Morgan she said she could do that and cast a spell on me to make that possible.”

“I’m guessing it didn’t go quite as planned,” Kellie answered, narrowing her eyes. Josh sighed, hanging his head slightly as he nodded. “No it didn’t,” he whispered. “Turns out it placed me under her control. She uses me as a spy now. I’m her eyes and ears so that she can spy on your daughter and her friends.”

Kellie rubbed her chin as she studied the young man. Josh wasn’t evil, just lacking confidence in himself. While his intentions had originally been pure (wanting to ask out a girl he liked) he had been manipulated by Morgan to do her bidding. Sighing she waved her hand freeing the boy from his chair. “Okay Josh I believe you,” she said. “But do you have any idea why she would try to break up Katie and Kellie?”

“Of all people I would think you would understand.”

Kellie froze in fear as she listened to the sacrine sweet voice ring out through the quad. Turning slowly she gasped as she beheld a woman standing a short distance away. “Morgan LeFay!”

Morgan frowned as she stared at the woman before her. “Yes yes it’s me,” she sighed. “I had hoped to keep my appearance hidden for a bit longer but you just had to make a grand entrance and begin investigating things on your own,”

“What do you want with my daughter,” Kellie bellowed, her fists clenched as she glared angrily at the sorceress.

“To eliminate her of course,”Morgan stated. “And splinter reality, exactly as you did all those years before.” Kellie grit her teeth as she now watched Morgan pace. “All my schemes, all my plans, everything I’ve tried to increase my power and usur Merlin and a group of mortals ruins it at every chance. I’m beginning to feel like the villain in Scooby Doo.”

“So you wanted to turn Katie and Kellie against each other,” Kellie spat. “You wanted them to destroy one another, just so you could What? gain more power?”

“I would think that would be obvious Ms. Pendragon,” Morgan stated. “That...and I really don’t like your family. You keep interfering in my plans. Making my job that much harder than it should be. You stopped me from turning Lynne, stopped me from turning Ann into a bimbo, stopped me from killing Gloria, prevented me from gaining any apprentice period. Do you have ANY idea how frustrating it is to be foiled again and again by a group of teenagers?”

“Can’t say I do,” Kellie smirked. “But then again I’m usually pretty thorough in my planning.”

“Ha ha,” Morgan grumbled. “You know Kellie, as evil as I am I’m nowhere as evil as you. I didn’t erase my family out of some petty spite. You may be Merlin’s daughter but that stain can never be erased from your soul. Face it, you and I are one in the same.”

Kellie winced as she she glowered at Merlin. The woman was right to some degree, she couldn’t erase that mistake, only try to do right from now on. “So what now,” she grumbled, staring dagger at The sorceress. “I would think that would be obvious,” she grinned. “I’m going to take matters into my own hands and erase you, your family and your friends myself.”

Kellie paled as she slowly rose from her seat. Morgan wasn’t bluffing, already she could feel a great deal of chaotic magical energy building in the area. “If you destroy us you damage this reality and banish yourself from it as well.”

“Silly girl that applies only to mortals,” she laughed. “My power rivals Merlin’s, I’m completely exempt from that rule of magic. You on the other hand are about to find out just how mortal you truely are.” Kellie now concentrated on preparing a defensive spell to deflect Morgan’s blast. Hopefully it would be enough to buy her some time to get backup, although she had her doubts. As she readied herself she noticed what appeared two statues quickly rush the sorceress, knocking her to the ground.

“What,” Morgan fumed as she dusted herself off. Kellie turned in the direction Morgan was staring, astounded by what she saw.

Mary Elise and Sasha appeared to have animated two statues to do there bidding. Joining the girls Kellie could see that her Katie, Jackie, Claudia, Gloria, and her own daughter now stared menacingly at Morgan LeFay. “Mom are you okay,” Katie yelled.

Kellie nodded as she quickly sprinted towards the group. “I am now thanks,” she sighed.

Morgan glowered at the group of women who now stood before her. “Do you really think you have the power to face me,” she yelled. “Look at you, your nothing but children playing with power you can not begin to fathom.”

“We have enough power to knock you on your ass,” Sasha yelled as she now reanimated a tree. Morgan’s eyes went wide as she saw the living trees branches swoop in wrap her in a tight embrace. The sorceress glared at the girl maliciously. As she did she saw Mary Elise step forward, a vengeful look on her face. As the girl glared at her she raised her ring. “This is for my dad,” she yelled, as her ring glowed.

Morgan watched as the statues she had animated turned towards the sorceress, delivering a thunderous punch with their solid granite fists. Morgan wheezed as she felt the wind out of her body. Furious, she grit her teeth before screaming. “Enough,” She bellowed.

Katie, Kellie and their friends were knocked backwards as an explosion of pure power shattered not only the trees but the statues as well. Looking towards Morgan Katie and the others could see a look of pure rage on the woman’s face. “Now,” she growled. “If it’s a fight you want then so be it. Now behold MY POWER.” Katie and the other eyes went wide as Morgan unleashed a blast of energy in their direction.
