Sunlight broke through Kendra's curtains, casting light over the three lovers' bodies. The teenagers has returned to human forms during the night. Eddie and Kendra went downstairs and joined her parents for breakfast.
"I talked to your parents earlier Eddie." Kendra's mother said. Kendra's father was no where to be seen, Kendra assumed he was still asleep. He usually worked late shifts, so he was probably still asleep.
"Oh, ya they did say they wanted to talk to you last night about... us." Eddie looked at Kendra.
"Do they not approve of us?" Kendra asked worried. They'd only been dating a month or so. Maybe his parents were concerned how fast things were moving. Under other circumstances maybe Kendra would be too. But she loved Eddie and didn't want to lose him. More importantly she didn't know how she would cope if she lost him. She needed him, genuinely needed him.
"No that's not it. They were just surprised I wanted to sleepover, and that your parents approved. We're still in high school so they're just looking out for me." Eddie said. He knew his parents would disapprove if they found out he was sexually active. They were prudes, but they didn't want any grandchildren yet either.
"Don't worry, we only talked about some ground rules if this continues."
"What sort of rules?"
"Curfews, mostly that someone is keeping an eye on you two so you don't get into too much trouble." Kendra's mom gave her daughter a knowing look. Trouble had already been gotten in. "Your potions are in the fridge, labelled for your convenience. I'm going to go grocery shopping. Your father is still asleep upstairs so try not to wake him."
Kendra and Eddie finished their breakfast and took their potions, meant to keep them from experiencing any unwanted transformations. Of course recent events had proven they weren't enough to stop the transformations, but it didn't hurt to keep taking them. The potions also acted as a "morning after" pill for Kendra which was vital given no one wanted her to get pregnant while still so young and in high school.
The two retreated back to Kendra's room after and sat together on her bed.
