"Jeff? Jeffrey. Are you home?"
His girlfriend called for him through the empty house and got no reply. She proceeded to walk up the stairs and walked straight into his room.
"Chronivac? Why would he leave his computer on if he wasn't home?"
She looks under the table and matches eyes with the roller skates and picks them up by their backs.
"Roller skates, I haven't worn these in so long. I guess I remember having fun rolling down the street, that was before the car, of course. Man, I miss my childhood you know what i'm still a girl at heart, I'm going to have fun even if Jeff is gone."
Jeff's girlfriend took him to his front porch and swapped her own shoes for the skates that Jeff had become. With a tight knot on both feet, he was locked in place and with a smork on her face, she proceeded to galavant around the neighborhood with wind in her hair.
