Christian and Mason, best friends for as long as either can remember, though it might not seem quite like it at first. They grew up together, practically as brothers. Yet over the course of the years, things changed. As they grew older, their situations changed slowly but surely. They grew distant, began bickering more frequently, acquired different interests, etc... There had even reached a point where the two decided it would be best had they not been friends any longer, and left it that way for nearly three years. Yet, as fate would have it, they were so connected to each other's lives that they couldn't stay apart for long. After many ups and downs, the two young men now stand at the age of 19 and the world is their oyster.
Christian is a meek young man. He stands at the very average height of 5'9" yet weighs a very light 114lbs. He comes from a very heavily mixed decent consisting of hispanic, asian, and white backgrounds. Though you wouldn't be able to tell by just looking at him. With pale skin, medium-length black hair, and hazel eyes, he always seems so plain. As for his personality, he's the quieter type but still very much an extrovert. He's smart, kind, and far too empathetic for his own good. Very emotionally driven, he sees Mason as his brother rather than just a best friend. He fell into a very severe depression during the time that he and Mason were apart. But don't misunderstand, Christian knows how to take charge and follow strict logic when the need arrives.
Mason, on the other hand, is almost the complete opposite. He stands at 5' 11" (and never let's Christian forget it). He weighs a much heavier 148lbs with considerable muscle and definition. Coming from a strictly asian descent, he's a stark contrast to his buddy Christian. Mason as copper skin, silky-black hair, and dark brown eyes. No matter where he goes, there's seemingly some girl there who's desperate for him. While he doesn't do well with attention, he finds himself at the center of it quite often with his ridiculous drive for adventure. But he's never been the one to show much emotion. Mason tries to always remain stoic, which has caused him issues with both girls and his friend Christian alike. He's not the brightest tool in the shed, but it doesn't seem to matter much when he's good at basically everything else. He values his friendship with Christian like no other, though he would never admit it.
They both lived normal lives, and were content with their relationship. That is, until one day...
