As soon as Evan was out of earshot, Ethan approached the four teens in their shared sweater.
"So, where did this thing come from?" he asked.
"Remember those different 'outfits' I got a few days ago?" Luke reminded his father.
"Oh, right. I almost forgot about that conjoined twin suit," Ethan replied. "So was this sweater in your closet now, too?"
"Not just this one," Luke replied.
The four teens removed the four-headed sweater, which Luke balled up and took upstairs with the group. Inside Luke's bedroom, he and his friends showed Ethan the various sweaters.
"This is incredible, and a game-changer!" Ethan exclaimed. "So you guys wore this to pretend to be conjoined when Evan got here."
"Exactly," replied Mark. "You and our dad didn't want us to actually be conjoined when Evan arrived, so Luke came up with this as a loophole."
"Maybe we can all wear these for now instead of actually being conjoined around Evan," proposed Max.
"And maybe once Evan learns about this fusion and conjoining stuff, we can fill him in on our secret!" Zack added.
"Alright then," Ethan agreed. "I'll just take a couple of these across the street to get Scott caught up."
"We should go with you," said Mark. "I think Kevin, Allan, and Dean are still at our house, too, since they're probably still conjoined."
"They are?" Ethan asked.
"We'll explain on the way, Dad," Luke replied. With that, each of them grabbed a couple sweaters from the boxes and the closet--ones for two, four, six, eight, and ten heads--and went back downstairs. Evan was still unpacking in the guest room upstairs, so Ethan decided to leave him a note telling him to head over to Scott's house in a few minutes for some "family bonding".
