With his questions spinning in his mind, Jeff returned to his desktop. It had fallen asleep since he had been down in the basement for quite some time. He shuffled the mouse to wake the computer from its slumber, and the Chronivac application reappeared on the screen. It showed his brothers' profile, just as he had left it:

Jeff smiled to himself, feeling that making his brothers share a body had been a good decision. He clicked the exit button, to close their profile, and a new pop-up appeared asking if he wanted to save the changes. Without giving it a second thought, he hit save. Their profile shrunk and went back inline with the other listed profiles within the Chronivac's range. However, his brothers' were listed as a single profile, instead of two separate ones like they had been previously, and additionally, their profile was greyed out. He selected their profile again and it expanded to show their information, but it appeared like he could not make any new changes. The program then notified him with a pop-up that there was a 12 hour cool down between modifications of a single profile.
Jeff sighed as he leaned back in his chair. If there was a cool down for all saved changes, he was hesitant to experiment on himself. As he stared at the screen, he noticed a new toolbar had appeared at the bottom of the screen. One icon showed an envelope with the number 1 in the corner of it. Jeff clicked on it, and a message appeared on screen: "Congratulations user! After making your first saved modification, you have unlocked an additional tool: Expanded profile. The more saved changes you make will also unlock other helpful tools for more specific modifications, or even more wide-sweeping modifications. Remember, you are the artist, and the world is your canvas."
Jeff smiled to himself, wondering what the expanded profile did. He noticed in the upper right hand corner of his brothers' greyed-out profile was a checkbox with the word 'Expanded' next to it. He clicked it, and suddenly his brother's profile grew with additional options.

With both profiles selected, the same pop-up window, that appeared with his brothers, now opened up. It listed the following options: Conjoinment|Merge|Link. Jeff was afraid that the merge option would combine Myles and Dominic into one person, essentially killing one or both. He hovered his mouse over the link option. He wondered if it would blend their two profiles, making them twins or a sort, or if it would just mirror any changes in one onto the other. After weighing the options for a few moments, he selected the conjoinment option again. He was curious what would happen for profiles of non-twins.
Another pop-up window appeared. "Warning. Profiles selected for the Conjoinment option are not related. Modifications made to the profiles will not apply until saved. Do you wish to continue?" Jeff selected the 'Okay' button. Myles and Dominic's profile then appeared bellow:

Jeff decided to keep most of their profile untouched, but he edited their height to be the same, 6 feet, 3 inches, and under the weight section, he changes their muscularity to symmetrical. He did not want them to have a weird limp or an uneven build. He double checked the profile as he scrolled down, and saw the option to save at the bottom. "Should I?" he whispered to himself. He knew that they would be stuck like that for 12 hours, but give his brothers' lack of reaction to their modification, everyone should be none the wiser. His mouse hovered over the save option as he contemplated.
