After dinner, Like and Alex told their parents they were going to head sleep early, making the excuse that they had tired themselves out earlier that day. Ethan, Alexis, Michele, and Alisa didn’t seem too worried about this. Luke’s dad even noted that it was normal for him and his sister/new friend to get tired trying to get everything they wanted to do done in a day. It was honestly funny to hear. In this new world, two strangers weren’t just siblings, but did everything they could to make each other happy, even with their different interests.
Once they got to their room, the pair laid in their now shared bed. They decided to not deal with the shower or full changing issues today, so they just changed into some sleep wear, which consisted of a light, split shirt and a split pair of pajama pants. Once that was one, Alex did her best to get her bra off while covered up, and the two would soon be laying down, lying flat on their backs with a pillow for each head.
“So,” Luke started. “This is weird.”
“Yeah.” Alex sighed, not use to sleeping on her back as she set he glasses to the side. “So, we deal with any issues tomorrow. I still don’t know how we avoided the bathroom.” Luke chuckled.
“Agreed. Maybe we have a double sized bladder?”
“That’d be nice for road trips.” Alex giggled at her own half-joke before leaning back. “Who do you think controls peeing?”
“Honestly, kinda hope it’s me. A lot easier.” Alex shuddered a little, thinking about the bathroom issue again.
“Let’s change the subject. You think Johnny and Suzie will be ok?” Luke sighed.
“I hope so, but we can try talking to them tomorrow if they’re still nippy at each other.” Alex smiled, realizing something.
“You know, maybe that suit knew what it was doing when it picked me to stick you to. I mean, we’re actually getting along, and making sure we’re each comfortable.” Luke was surprised at first, then thought.
“Yeah.... You’re right. Heck, it’s kinda hard to image how anyone else would do.” It was then that their dogs walked in, laying in their own bed. “Well, let’s get some shut eye, and get ready for an interesting tomorrow.” The two then slipped into sleep.
