Sighing Laura realizes there's not much of a choice. As much as she wants to leave this place it was hardly the wisest course of action. But how was she supposed to kill the time?
Her gaze drifts to the assorted toys, she wants to reject the idea outright. But when the alternative is sitting and staring at a wall it looks more inviting.
At first Laura only half heartedly stacks some blocks trying to make a tall tower, but when she accidentally knocks it over she finds herself burst into giggles. After that she only gets more invested in her playtime completely losing track of time. She also adds to her outfit a princess tiara, a fairy wand, and a temporary butterfly tattoo on her cheek. By the time the sun starts to rise, she's set up a pretend tea party with dolls and stuffed animals, giving each their own voice and personality.
As the sunlight passes through to window, Laura is shocked to realize has much she had gotten into the role. She is further shocked when she realizes at some point she had unknowingly wet herself.
"This isn't me I'm a grown woman not a little girl who can't keep track of time or who forgets to use the potty. I need to get to that magic shop now."
She grabs a discarded backpack she had found during the night and carefully placed the dice inside. Then removes the wet training pant, whipes herself down, and pulls up a fresh pair. As a precaution, she puts a few extra pairs and a pack of whipes in the backpack as well. She then heads out the front door and, seeing a car start to pull into the driveway, bolts behind the building, hoping she wasn't seen, before starting back on the path towards the magic shop.
