As Katie and Kellie now talked, they were surprised to see Gloria enter the room with another teenage girl. Katie turned at first smiling before a look of confusion crossed her face. “Gloria good to see you but who is this?”
Yuriko gaped as she gazed at Kellie, Jack, and Katie. She knew all of these people but a now pregnant Kellie was a complete surprise to her. “This is Allison,” Gloria said almost robotically. “We’ve been hanging out together.”
Katie and Kellie now furrowed their brows as they gazed at the girl. Allison looked somewhat familiar but they couldn’t quite place her face. “Glo,” Katie said quietly. “Why did she follow you in here?”
Gloria opened her mouth to answer but paused. It made no sense why she would bring Allison in with her. She and Felicia had spent the night at Allison and Heathers house after helping their dad get ready for a date with Ms. Haskins. While the night was fun Gloria really couldn’t say that the teens were any more than school friends. After receiving Katie’s text she and Felicia said their goodbyes before leaving. What mystified her was how Allison had accompanied her to her sisters house. Gloria had only been to happy let her come but why? Before she could answer Allison stepped forward.
“Okay enough of this,” Yuriko groaned. “Don’t blame Gloria here. I used my magic to get her to bring me here.”
Jack, Kellie, and Katie frowned as they prepared themselves. “Who are you,” Kellie said angrily.
“Yuriko Harris,” She said. “And when the hell did you get pregnant?,”
“Yuriko,” Katie said quizzically. “”Where do I know that name from?”
“I’m Kumiko daughter,” she exclaimed. “Her unborn daughter to be precise, and right now I need some god damn answers. In my time Kellie and Jack don’t have a kid now what the hell is going on!”
Kellie stared dumbstruck at the time displaced teen as Jack and Katie stepped in front of her. “Look kid I don’t know who you are but you need to go now!”
Yuriko scoffed as she now dug her coin out of her pocket. As she pressed it she could see the soft glow emanate from it, breathing a sigh of relief as the adult Mia and Zack now appeared before her. “Yuriko why are we back,” Zack asked.
“Maybe you two can explain this,” Yuriko exclaimed gesturing towards a pregnant Kellie. “When and HOW the fuck did this happen? Did the timeline change?” Mia looked at Jack and Kellie, sighing as she now began to approach Kellie. Jack seeing this immediately stepped forward, his eyes glowing red as he prepared a spell. Unfortunately he wasn’t counting on Zack being there.
Zack, seeing his wife being threatened, immediately transformed growing in size as the burly man became the massive wolf beast. Grabbing Jacks arm he could see the look of shock on the teens face. Zacks massive clawed hand engulfed Jacks hand up to the elbow as he now picked the teen off the ground by his arm. “I’m gonna ask you nicely sir to not threaten my wife,” he growled.
Things were quickly degenerating as Katie and Kellie now prepared spells aimed at Zack as Yuriko and Mia targeted Katie and Kellie. “Gloria we need your help,” Katie called.
“She can’t right now,” Yuriko yelled. “Mind control. A spell you helped teach me Kellie.”
“Okay enough,” Mia yelled. “Listen this isn’t going anywhere. Everyone needs to chill out! Zack honey can you please put Jack down.” The massive wolfman grumbled as he lowered Jack to the ground before glowering at him.
“Mia What are you doing,” Yuriko exclaimed. “In case you haven’t noticed we have some real serious problems right now. How the hell do these two have a kid I’ve never heard of!”
“Yuriko Listen,” Mia said calmly. “The future hasn’t changed. This all happened before, a lot of things happened that are playing out just like before.”
“What are you talking about,” Kellie asked, still dumbstruck that yet another time displaced teen was in her daughters timeline.
“Yuriko,” Mia said sadly. “After you summoned Zack and me to the last the last time we talked with Merlin. You being here, the pregnancy, everything. It’s playing out exactly like it did before. Things are going to happen just like last time.”
“But Merlin sent me back in time to stop all that from happening,” Yuriko said. “He wanted me to find out who the traitor was that was trying to merge the timelines.”
“There is no traitor,” Mia moaned as she looked at Zack. “And that wasn’t the Merlin you think you know. The Merlin you talked with is a friend but they couldn’t tell you the real reason. You came here because it was necessary. You have place in history here, your going to be needed in time.”
“What are you talking about,” Kellie asked.
“Kellie,” Zack said as he held his wives hand. “Mia and I know about your son. His birth was kept secret from Yuriko and the other kids.”
“Why is that,” Katie asked.
“We can’t go into the details,” Mia stated. “Not without changing the future, our future, which seems to be unfolding exactly as it did before.” Zack and Mia now shared a sad look as they turned to Yuriko. “Yuki we’re going to need to talk with you in private,” they said.
Kellie was still shocked by what was unfolding. Another time traveling teen. A different Merlin. A near future that seems to be bleak. Kellie gulped as she gazed at her stomach, what was this child about to unleash on the world?
