Of all the knights in this blockage, the one in the shed seems to be the I liked. His hair is short and cropped, which I liked. He's pretty average, neither too tall nor stout nor old. And his age is not that far from my previous life so I guess it's a nice return to young adulthood.
My tired feet led me to the cabin where the night returned to his watch.
"Commander Olly, forgive me for being blunt, but why did you disobey Legate Yorick's orders?"
"Didn't you realize who that man is?"
"His face is familiar but I don't seem to recognize who he is."
"His name is Carim. He killed Arslan's men with that sword. It would be a great disrespect if we let block his path and accuse him of cohorting with Arslan's liege. We've already wasted most of his day. So as recompense, I'm assigning you to guard his travels to Almar."
"Almar? Sir, but that's too far away."
"That's an order and I'd have your head on a spike on Proudspire's walls if you dare disobey me." God, I love that threat. Haafgar always used that threat on those urchins they got from the street. "Anyway, what's your name again"
There were no words but his face is saying that it offended him. Nevertheless, as an underling, he answered me "It's Gren Salt-Beard, sir"
"Gren Salt-Beard huh?" I chuckled. Funny surname.
I dispelled my possession of Commander Olly and with wide eyes from Gren, I possessed his shocked body.

The night is creeping up and the moon hangs in the sky. The beasts of the words are howling and all manners of evil are approaching by. The road is desolate except for Carim and me. Our horses are parched but there's a lot more road to pass by.
In the distance is a clearing and beyond that are lights. Carim used his eyepiece from Smithee's ware and saw an Inn in the distance.
"I've been staying in that clearing for ages past but that Inn is new. Want to check it out?"
