“Oh my god she’s freaking adorable,” Lisa squealed as she squeezed the Samoan toddlers cheeks. Kellie couldn’t help but agree as she gazed at the former Amazonian teen. Samantha had been reduced to a small child now, her shirt acting as a makeshift dress that descended past her knees.
“Someone want to carry her,” Mary Elise asked. “At least until we can find some shoes for her?”
“I got her,” Karen said, bending down to let the girl now climb on her back. “Just hope she’s still potty trained.” As they now began the journey toward the daycare center, Kellie trailed behind motioning towards Mika. The jade Kitsune paused, letting her girlfriend go on ahead.
“So what do you know,” Kellie asked quietly. “You obviously heard something.”
“Nothing,” Mika said quickly. Kellie frowned as she looked Mika straight in the eye. “You have a horrible poker face Mika,” she smirked. “Listen I already have a pretty good idea what it is and yeah I’m worried too.”
“So you know,” Mika whispered. Kellie nodded solemnly as Mika sighed. “My parents called me,” she said. “Tatsu and Shizen, they fear we will be unable to stop it. That all hope is lost.”
“That’s pretty much what I heard from Ann,” Kellie said softly. “But Listen I’m not giving up just yet. Look, you and me are going to see my daughter Katie tomorrow. Whatever is coming will be hard but I’m not giving up. Not after everything we’ve been through.” Mika could only nod, giving Kellie a sad smile. Despite Kellies optimism she still feared the worse.
As the group now arrived at the daycare, Kellie stifled a laugh. It appeared that Circe and Lilith had gone out of their way to make the daycare as colorful and childish as possible. Toddler songs emanated from the building, which were almost too irresistible to not sing to. Kellie had a feeling though that singing along to the songs would quickly land you in the daycare itself. “Good thing I’m pregnant or I’m pretty sure I’d be back in diapers,” she thought. As the group let Samantha now charge happily into the playroom they smiled, watching as the Samoan toddler began playing with the anthro lion cub Ann had regressed.
“Aw they look like their having so much fun,” Kumiko sighed happily.
“Yeah,” Katie smiled. “Now the question is, who’s next?”
“Whoa what do you mean,” Mary Elise said quickly. “Oh cmon Mary,” Katie laughed. “Like Sammy was going to be the only one that got changed. Face it, your either going to end up being an anthro or having your age changed. The question is who’s next?”
“I vote Lisa,” Karen said quickly, causing the auburn haired teens jaw to drop. “What the hell why,” Lisa exclaimed. Karen turned, a small smile spreading across her face as she pushed her glasses up. “You were the one that came up with this idea,” she countered. “Figure you should go next.”
“Well I vote for you Karen,” Lisa stated. “Why don’t you join Sammy in preschool.” As the girls now began a friendly debate Kellie could only smile. Tomorrow they would begin preparing for what was to come, today though would be a day of fun,
