Unfortunately for Gloria and her friends there Merlin had no answers for them. Despite being an all powerful inter dimensional being even he couldn’t tell who this “other Merlin” from the future was. The only thing they could agree on was that this person appeared to be an ally.
With the specter of an impending war coming Gloria, Katie and their friends tried to prepare themselves. First though a happy event. Katie and Kellies wedding date had finally arrived.
The two college co-Ed’s were planning to marry before returning to school before honeymooning over spring break. After that the two would begin juggling married life, a young child, and searching for jobs following graduation in the spring. As Gloria now drove to a cabin in the mountains with Katie and Kellie she couldn’t help but feel excited and happy for the first time in awhile. “So Gloria you excited to be turning 16 soon,” Kellie asked.
Gloria smiled as she thought of her birthday in a week. “Yeah and a little scared,” she chuckled. “Mom and Dad have been giving me lessons but I’m nervous I’ll mess up. Maybe I can get some practice in while we’re here this weekend.”
“Good luck,” Katie giggled. “Remember you and Sammy are the maids of honor. Your going to have your hands full.” Gloria sighed, nodding in response. She had been shocked when Kellie had asked her to be her maid of honor and happily accepted. With Samantha acting as Katie’s maid of honor she found herself working side by side with the young mom. The amount of work that went into helping the brides get everything ready was overwhelming but with the day rapidly approaching they had finally managed to get everything set up. As the hotel now came into view Gloria gasped in shock. “Wow this place is beautiful,” she said in awe. “How did you afford it?”
“You can thank Katie’s dad for that,” Kellie smirked. “Turns out having a magical theme park produces quite a bit a revenue.”
“Unfortunate it also means dad will be coming with Lilith and Circe in tow,” Katie grumbled.
“Wait Lilith and Circe are coming,” Gloria exclaimed.
“Yeah and Baba Yaga is probably coming too,” Kellie sighed. “We gave Katie’s mom Kellie a plus one. She’s still trying to get back on her dads good side so she gave it to him.”
“Okay hold on let me get this straight,” Gloria frowned. “Not only are Katie’s parents coming but their bringing along Lilith, Circe, Merlin and Baba Yaga too!”
“Pretty much,” Katie shrugged.
Gloria stared dumbfounded at her sister and her fiancé, shocked to hear a demon, a goddess, and two powerful magic users would be attending the wedding. “Anything else I should know,” Gloria fumed.
“All the doppelgängers from the other timeline are attending too,” Kellie said. “Along with a couple anthros and demons. Oh and my parents really don’t know about magic so.....we gotta try to keep things on the down low.”
“Good luck with that,” Gloria grumbled. “You do grandma and grandpa are coming too right? Plus Ann is taking Jackie as a date.”
“It’ll be fine,” Katie said with a smile. Gloria narrowed her eyes as she now gave her sister a sideways glance. “It could be a disaster.”
As they pulled into the hotels front driveway they were greeted by the bellhops who immediately took the girls luggage to their rooms. Kellie and Katie now took a moment to view the surrounding mountainside. “Wow what a view,” Kellie whispered.
“”I’ll say,” Katie said. “Remember we all still have to cast the spell to make it snow. Always wanted to get married during a light snow storm.” Kellie smiled, placing a gentle kiss on her fiancés cheek. “Well it took a lot of work to get that spell just right,” she said. “Thankfully Mika, Claudia, Mary, And Sammy said they’ll help.”
“Think you need my help ,” Gloria asked. Katie and Kellie nodded, as the three of them now gazed at the majestic mountain scene. As the others now began to arrive Katie, Kellie and Gloria couldn’t help but smile. For Katie and Kellie the two would finally be joined together in marriage. Gloria now hoped that her sister and her former babysitter would get the wedding they So rightfully deserved.
