Polly's skin was covered in feathers, her legs narrowed to almost twigs, a thick mask covered her face... Polly had become a bird. Her whole body was the same red that her hair was, and her beak was painted with all matter of slogans. Linda said under her breath, "a bird?"
"A bird! I'm a parrot, you're a ferret, why do you look so surprised?"
"Nothing, it's just.. did you do the project?"
"Did I do the project... I'll finish my part in first period. Now, let's get to school."
Linda spent her entire walk to school staring at everyone she saw. It seemed that every time she looked at a person, they became an animal-person. In the ten minute walk, she must have created at least 30 of them.

Linda looked around her first period. Emily, a nerdy girl, had become a red fox. Rachael, a cheerleader, had become a skimpily dressed calico. Her friend Mark had taken the form of a bat. One thing that did take her by suprise was the difference in sizes. Jake, a linebacker bull, used to only be a few inches taller than her, but now he was almost double her height!
She checked Instagram. Some of her friends seemed to have transformed already - without her making any eye contact with them at all. Maybe the transformed transformed people too?
She went through her saved photos. Her girlfriend Izzie was now a raccoon-girl... and a cute one at that. Looking at some lewder photos started to turn her on. She was transfixed until she heard Rachael's snickering. She'd never been into any furry stuff before, but reality changes must have altered her brain, too.
When the bell rang, she ran out of the classroom, hoping to not get trampled. Crossing a corner, she bumped into Izzie, wearing her usual hoodie and jeans. Izzie gave her a hug, before saying...
