Looking up at the screen the two realize they've placed themselves in some documentary showing. Hardly a place for little kids. The employee spots them, grabs them by the arms, and drags them towards the exit.
"That's enough of your antics. You're going to tell me where your parents are now."
Laura and Kaitlin are silent, having no idea how to satisfy that demand. So, they are led back into the main mall and towards the security station.
"Laura we need to get out of this now," whispers Kaitlin.
"I know."
As they walk by a store meant for children, Laura comes up with a bad plan. She tosses the dice inside and braces.
“Ten and nine years you have walked this earth. Now these numbers are but nine and seven. Each roll of the die shall return more of what has been lost.”
As the two shrink once again, they slip out of the employees grip and duck into the store. Laura sees the dice, but doesn't have time to grab them before they have to run further inside to dodge the employee.
