As they entered the shop, Kendall felt overwhelmed by her guilt. Once they were sat, she profited that Connor was temporarily distracted to turn him back into the girl Josie had turned 'him' into at 'his' demand. Then, she altered herself mentally, so she would be more accepting of it.
"Thank you for the invitation. Although I… I'm surprised you're so accepting of this." Said the restored Connor, gesturing to her body.
"Well… I won't lie, you actually being a transgender girl is a hard pill to shallow, on top of rather painful for me. But it's not your fault, and I think the last thing you need is a bitter ex-girlfriend complicate things even more. So, why not learn to know the true you and try to be friends?"
"Thank you for trying then, that prove you're a better person than most think. I honestly don't know if I would react so well if the roles were reversed. But… Why are you referring to yourself as my ex-girlfriend?"
At the sad tone in Connor's voice when asking that question, Kendall made a grimace. The very idea Connor could be a lesbian disgusted her! She always found gays peoples to be disgusting and was unable to accept them as anything but dreadful aberrations. But the female Connor had sex with Allan, didn't she?
"I'm bi-sexual, Kendra" answered Connor, seeing Kendall's grimace. "And while I still love you, I can see on your face how prejudiced you are toward gay people, I see it all to well. Don't worry, I won't ask Josie to make you more tolerant. If someone don't see a problem with altering your mind it mean they don't really care about you. …And they aren't a nice person, either."
Connor had unknowingly dealt a solid blow to to Kendall, but it didn't stop said girl from desperately asking "Are you sure you're not, how they call it… Gender-fluid? Sometimes feeling like you're a girl and other times feeling like you're a man?" already knowing the answer to this question, thanks to the Chronivac 7.0 app on her phone.
"Sorry babe, but no. I may have been born with a boy's body, but my mind was always a girl's one, even if I probably wouldn't never have understood it, or even knew it was possible, without the intervention of Jenny and Josie, because of how I was educated. I'll probably have to thanks those two, now that I think of it."
That made Kendall think a bit. Maybe she should use her Chronivac app to make her parents and herself more tolerating towards gays peoples, maybe even turn herself into a lesbian so she could still be with Connor, or whatever he wanted to be called now. Or maybe, rather than turning herself into a disgusting lesbo and making herself be fine with it, she could turn herself into an heterosexual boy. Maybe Connor would choose 'her' new self over Allan.
"Say, did you think of what people should call you now that you're a girl? We can't keep calling you Connor, it's not a very feminine name…"
