Jamie was still unpacking her things in her new apartment. It was around three days since she moved in and had the main things unpacked and set up, yet she still had plenty of boxes to unpack and place in her new home. Flat-packs of furniture still were splayed out upon the floor of her bedroom and living room, books and clothes strung around any object that was unpacked as a reminder to herself to finish making her closet and bookshelves, the room was chaotic as it could be.
Jamie was exhausted with her current work, trying to finish making her wardrobe, and decided to unpack something that was already ready to go. She looked at what was the easiest to place and the only option was a mirror that she bought. Or did her mother buy that? She couldn't remember. The mirror was a simple one with a whole body frame, meaning that it was perfect for checking what she was wearing for a night out. She didn't realize what this mirror could actually do. The mirror had this power, a power of change and alteration, where whatever the reflection makes you look like, you will become it. Slowly. And when you realize that it is changing you, it might be too late, and your fate is sealed and your mind completely changed.
She opened up the box, slid the mirror out and set it up in her bedroom, next to where the wardrobe would be placed. As soon as it was placed in the perfect spot, she looked at her reflection. Wait, that wasn't right... she looked different. Really different... She looked like...
