Jamie's antennae start to twitch. She could sense Annette in the other room... nervous, confused. Is this what fairy antennae are for; some kind of empathic sensory organs? No, it was more than that; she could feel Annette's aura and the aura of the mirror. The mirror MUST be showing her something.
Before Jamie could leave the bathroom to go check, the burning sensation on her ears returned stronger than ever. As if some unseen force was pulling on them, HARD; she felt them stretching outward, like she saw in the mirror. She cried out as the large, elven ears slowly took shape.
The pain quickly subsided when they finished growing in; and, like before, Jamie touched the new modifications. They were sensitive for a few moments, but that subsided long enough for her to get a good feel, and a good look in the mirror. Her ears were longer, for sure, but also noticeably bigger; which reminded her that her eyes would follow suit. Meanwhile, Jamie found her ears also had rather acute hearing, as she heard Annette muttering to herself in the other room about what she's seeing in the mirror.
