Bill quickly returned his potty training, replacing “hasn’t” with “has”. He let out a soft sigh of relief as the poop disappeared from his boxers. Now, the mess was on the outside of his clothes, in the form of maple syrup on his shirt. William took Bill into the men’s restroom and quickly wiped down his shirt.
“There, all clean!” William said cheerfully. “Do you need to pee, Billy?” Bill shook his head. “Okay, then wait for me. I’ll be right back.” William ducked into the stall. Bill leaned against the wall of the bathroom. Things could be worse right now, he supposed. But they could also be better.
Bill took the phone out and generated a new sentence. It took a couple tries, but he finally landed on one that had some potential.
It read “Billy Jr. waits for his father to finish in the bathroom.”
