D&D goes beyond

added by David 3 years ago A BM TG O

“Goddammit!”

Ezekiel was going to play D&D with his friends tonight at 7:30, but he had somehow misplaced his set of Dice. It was given to him as a present when he went off to college, but now he had lost it. Not wanting to have to use his friends’ dice like a mooch, he decided to go buy some more dice from the nearby gaming store: Level 7 Games.

Ezekiel walked into the store with a sort of anger that you only feel once you have been so emotionally drained that you can’t be sad. Wanting to make this journey quick and cheap, he decided to get some bargain dice.

Allured by the beauty of the crystalline dice, the players decided to use its d20 to roll initiative. This would have been an uneventful session, if the die hadn’t been enchanted by a real wizard to transform whoever had rolled the die into something else depending on what the die landed on.

And the first player who rolled the die was...
