His arms still wrapped tightly around his foxy girlfriend, James reached for the dice. "Wouldn't it be safer if you, you know, stripped?" asked Alicia. James scowled. Taking off his clothes would mean letting go of Nicole, and he didn't intend to that until she was more comfortable with her new form. It was a risk he'd simply have to take. Daniel scowled, too, wishing that his girlfriend wasn't quite so straightforward about asking the other man here to get naked.
When his figurine came to rest on yet another green square, James reached for the card, trying to muster the courage to face whatever would happen to him.
Pass forward the dice for now,
there are no changes here to see,
but when next in union you partake,
you'll find canine loyalty.
"What does that mean?" the fox in his arms asked, laying a hand against his chest and looking up at his eyes. "Are you going to turn into a dog or something?"
"It says I don't have any changes, at least for now, I guess."
"I think it sounds like the changes happen the next time you have sex," offered Daniel. Met with a series of annoyed glances, he explained further, "Look, it obvious from what happened to me that sex isn't off-limits to this game, and that's really what I think it means when the card talks about union."
"Well..." James began, stalling while his mind tried to find a way to put a positive spin on things. "Foxes are in the same family as dogs." He ran a finger over the fur of Nicole's muzzle and she giggled at the ticklish contact. "We'll be okay together."
