Laura sighed as she finished wiping up the rest of the milk from the kitchen floor. Anna had decided to make herself breakfast before waking Laura up. That worked as well as expected and Laura had to clean up more cereal and milk than what had gotten into Anna's bowl.
Anna continued to bounce on the bed while Laura did so. Laura was remembering back to when she was a teenager the first time and knew this was why she never babysat.
"Anna please stop doing that." Laura decided to go with comfortable in the few clothes that would reasonably fit her.
"I wanna to go to the playground."
Laura tried to remember if there were any parks within walking distance. There were none.
"There aren't any we can get to."
"I wanna go. I wanna go." Anna practically sang. Laura could tell this was more for annoyance instead of any anger. She wanted nothing more than to get some aspirin and go to the magic shop to fix this mess. But no, Anna didn't want to do that and hid the dice.
"Fine." Laura rubbed her temples a few times out of habit rather than actual headache.
