Kellie watched now as Matt and the Davis family ironed out an agreement. Matt would be responsible for training Tricia in magic, with Samantha and Mike keeping a close eye on the training. Matt would also help Samantha with her training as well. While Matt could claim Tricia as a member of the clan, Samantha and Mike made sure that Tricia would stay with her parents. No dragon could take the child away from her home, she would be under the protection of the dragons but be independent of their influence. While not a perfect deal both sides seemed satisfied.
"So I guess this means we can count tou as an ally," Kellie asked. Matt shrugged, gazing down at the Davis family.
"That's what it appears to be," he said. "Having the Davis family as honorary members of the clan and being the instructor to one of the next generation of wizards will have secured my position of leadership."
"So what's next," Samantha asked.
"I still have alot of work to do," Kellie sighed. "I still need to talk with the werebeasts, mummies, and fairies."
"If you like I can put in a good word for you," Matt smirked. Kellie smiled, as she was about to answer she paused. Looking up at Matt she could see the look of concern wash over the dragons face. "You felt that too didnt you?"
"Felt what," Mike asked.
"Theres a massive attack going on," Matt growled. "On two planes of exiatence."
Samantha and Mike gave the two a look of confusion before looking to Kellie. "Villar is on the attack," she said.
"Where," Samantha asked.
"My timeline," Kellie stated. "And somewhere else. I cant quite place it."
"The realm of the Lycans," Matt answered. "I cant believe he would be so brazen."
"I should go and help," Kellie said.
"No," Matt retorted. "The Lycans may be powerful but they need help. They wont be able to hold out indefinitely, especially considering the amount of power I am sensing. No, you need to bring them aid."
"But who," Kellie asked.
"The mummies," Matt said. "Their magic will be invaluable in the struggle. I will send some of my most trusted dragons to said the Lycans."
"What about us," Mike asked. "We're not sitting in the sidelines."
"Head to my timeline," Kellie said. "I have a feeling they could use the help."
Samantha and Mike nodded as Matt now conjured two portals. As the Davis family turned to leave they paused, staring at their daughter before turning to Matt. "You think you can watch Tricia for us?"
Matt raised a scaly eyebrow before a smile spread across his lips. Almost instantly the dragon transformed into human guise. "It would be my pleasure," he said warmly. "I'll make sure she stays safe."
As the Davis family now departed, Kellie took one more look at Matt. The dragon in human form smiled, wishing Kellie good luck as she now vanished into the portal in search of allies.
