Colin spotted a motorcycle with police markings propped against a wall, keys in the ignition.
“What are you- HEY!” Jackson yelled as Colin grabbed him and handed him a chain.
“I have an idea, but you’re not gonna like it...” Colin said as he revved up the bike.
Mary Anne frantically prayed into her hands, drowned out in a sea of screams.
She looked up to see something zoom past them.
“Look!” yelled Lynn.
Jackson was hanging onto the hood attaching something to the grill.
“Ready to go!” Jackson yelled, “Hope you know what you’re doing!”
The law student jumped off the hood as Carter ran up to catch him.
“Colin!” Everyone smiled as the fat guy squeezed the throttle.
The van swung left, slamming everyone against the doors and other passengers.
“Come on Colin, full throttle!” He gritted through his teeth as he and the van sped towards the bus.
Paige covered her eyes, Carter held his breath, and Jackson went speechless as the group began to slow down.
The van collided with the abandoned bus... with a gentle tap.
“We’re alive...” Lynn smiles with a laugh, “WE’RE ALIVE!!!!”
Everyone ran out to cheer Colin on.
He blushed tomato red as Mary Anne passionately kissed him with tears in her eyes.
“Holy shit, you made it!” Paige shouted.
“You’re one crazy son of a bitch, my friend.” Jackson added.
“Nothing’s gonna stop us now!” Carter yelled.
