Jennifer discovered quite a few inconveniences with her new body over the next week. To start off, words like "inconveniences" were too hard to say. On top of that her potty training was iffy at best, she's had many daytime accidents and Gideon has found it easier to just put her in diapers at night.
Speaking of Gideon, he also saw fit to baby proof the house after one incident of her almost sleep walking down the stairs which Jennifer thought to be extreme. Maybe if he'd just get a handle on properly dealing with her new hair she'd be less irritated with him. Instead every day brushing her hair is a long ordeal of hair pulling, head yanking, and tears which has only marginally improved over time.
But he did manage to get her a new audition and if she can just get this role it'll all be worth it. Sleeping in a crib, eating in high chairs, letting Gideon kick her out of the master bedroom, all of it.
Before the audition Jennifer and Gideon sit in the waiting room, she sucks her thumb, a new habit that she's been unable to break, while examining the other perspective actresses. With amusement, she notes that she's actually the youngest there. None seem to have mastered the discipline of sitting still yet, so she feels confident their acting skills are no match for hers.
After being called in and giving the best audition of her life, Jennifer watches the director sit open jawed for a moment before composing himself.
"She's absolutely perfect! I can't believe you've got a 3 year old acting with that much focus. I forsee a bright career in her future."
Jennifer is too busy celebrating to notice or care as she wets herself. This is it, her big break. She's done it at last!
