Tom's family stood at the exit as he rode the conveyor belt out of the machine. When Beth saw him she screamed.
"Mommy, Mommy! It's ok! They didn't make him a clown!" she squealed. The nice policeman let me push the BEAR button, so now he's my Papa BEAR!"
"Well.... I.... what?" Beth stammered. "I mean, it's better than a horrid clown! Good job, Morgan!" She looked at him from head to toe; he looked completely different. He was brown from head to toe. Most of his body was covered in fur and any exposed skin was painted brown. The only clothing he had on was a pair of shorts for decency. His face had changed; it looked familiar, yet he had the muzzle of a bear. His ears looked like bear ears, his hands had become paws, and he even had a little tail on his back! Once out of the machine, he let out a growl, dropped on all fours, and dashed over to Morgan. Beth gasped as he reached for her, but he wrapped his arms around her in the biggest bear hug.
"My Papa Bear!" she cried.
"Why is he like that?" Beth asked.
"Well, the collar will cause him to think and act like a bear if he is not at home, so he will be like this for a month. He still has all of the same feelings and emotions towards you, he just can't say it with words. He will still continue to love and protect you even like this. You just have to get him home and make sure he gets food and water," the officer said. "Now his day in court is set to be in 9 months, so just help him keep out of trouble till then."
"Nine months! Do you mean he's stuck like this for over half a year? Can't his court date be any sooner? I mean, where will he even sleep?" Beth asked.
"I'm sorry Ma'am," the officer said. "Due to the backup of cases, that's the best we can do. Now, he can sleep in bed like he used to, if you're comfortable with that. It may take some adjusting, but I've heard..." he lowered his voice to a whisper. "I've heard that some people find the changes to be, well, rather exotic. Like the ultimate role-play come to life! He'll be much more suggestive in his animal mindset. I heard one story where the husband had been morphed into a tiger. While he was in his right mind, they would role-play like he was attacking her. Apparently she liked being overpowered. She got him aroused and then dragged him outside and pushed him over the property line. He lost all control and began to think and act like a tiger. He pounced on his wife right there, held her down, and started getting busy on her, and...
"That's enough!" Beth said. "If I wanted to hear your dirty sex stories, I would have asked you! You're lucky I'm too busy today to report you! C'mon kids, we're leaving. Lead your father to the car."
