Animalia Ambassadoria: Comic Coverage, and Previews

added by makutamon 3 years ago O

"Hello everyone and welcome to a new episode of Animalia Ambassadoria." said Sarah, kicking off the latest episode.

"Today we'll be meeting some relatively new members and discussing some things that are going on with Animalia's first dedicated Comic Book Convention." said Malice.

"But first, let's all have Molly in our prayers for her speedy recovery from Covid-19." said Sarah. This was followed up by a clip from Surf's Up where the announcer says, "A moment of silence, please... AND WE KEEP IT MOVING PEOPLE!"

"But fortunately for her, her case was caught early, and due to all Animalians more robust immune systems, we're fairly optimistic for her recovery." said Malice, "And since there aren't any real events coming up for the remainder of July, except Animalia's birthday celebration, and August, we're all hoping that the pandemic will have calmed down somewhat."

"So Anton," Said Ashley Jenkins, "Your newest members have narrowed down some of their choices?"

"They have, and there are some who chose either sharks or snakes." answered Anton.

"Were there any who were surprised with their new forms?" asked Ashley.

"The only major surprise was when those who chose to be sharks or snakes discovered that they're now 'double-barreled'." replied Anton. At that, Vlad collapsed facedown on the desk, again, and Dmitri crossed off another name, again, while saying "Oh brother.", again.

"And since a lot of them are homosexual, they'll be going through Homosexual Anonymous?" asked Ashley.

"It certainly helps them to adapt." Answered Anton.

"So we're now here at Fennec Hall to talk to Nicole about some of the newest things that happened to her and her mother." said Jen-Jen, as she went up to the door. While Nicole was wearing a workout outfit for her interview, it proceeded to go as normally as possible until there was an outbreak of shouting from a few floors up.

"What's all that about?" asked Jen-Jen.

"Oh, one of our staff members just got done with their conversion, and her daughter is clearly not taking it too well." answered Nicole.

"She prejudiced against Animalians or something?" asked Jen-Jen as one of the voices, clearly the daughter's, was heard to scream, dramatically "I am never speaking to you! I can't!"

"Oh no," said Nicole, "her daughter seems to think she's always on stage, and her part is a cross between a drama queen and a goth princess."

"So Jessica," said Sarah, "How did Hunni's meeting with Shyra and your family go?" asked Sarah, opening up the link between her and Jessica.

"It went mostly alright," answered Jessica, "It's just that Hunni's mentality, combined with her physicality, makes her a little... intimidating." Eduardo, from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends: "And a little loco!"

"So... has scientists managed to figure how how she had gotten so big?" asked Sarah, in an attempt to change the subject.

"A popular theory on the internet is that the leftover gamma radiation interacted with the Animalia virus and 'turbocharged' it." said Jessica, "But as Kermit put it best," Then there was a scene from The Muppet Movie where Kermit says to Doc Hopper, "That's a myth!"

"What?" asked Doc Hopper.

"MYTH! MYTH!" said Kermit again.

"Yes?" asked the woman from the El Sleazo Café, appearing from behind the sign.

"No kidding." said Sarah, after the clip ended.

"As we all know, conventions such as this is an opportunity to dress up as our favorite heroes or villains," said Abby, "And Animalia is getting in on the act. But there are actually two different locations for such a thing. The one that is more family friendly is being held at the Kat's Klub, while the more 'daring' one is being held at the Meat Market."

---

"In other news from Dino City and Skull Island," said Sophie, "Dino City is having a similar influx of immigrants that Animalia had a while back."

"While Animalia is currently dealing with the rich and super rich members of society," said Roland, "Dino City and Skull Island is having an influx of 'hippie' and 'counterculture' members."

"While this isn't necessarily a bad thing," said Sophie, "It can certainly be annoying, what with their 'natural vibes' and everything."

"But again, these hippies are ones that understand that 'make love not war' is a way of life, and not an excuse to spend the next few decades higher than the moon." said Roland.

"Now before we leave, We'd like to give Mr. Hyun a large congratulations on his victory against a would-be suitor." said Malice, as the episode came to a close.

"What was immediately obvious from the get-go, was that he was similar to a lot of 'annoying frat boys' we're all to familiar with." said Sarah, loading some movie clips showcasing said annoying frat boys. Afterwards, she continued, "But our current president, along with America in general weren't to upset about his loss. The general opinion on the Animalia website is that 'he got what he deserved'."

"Official coverage of the fight, alongside color commentary can be viewed on our website." said Malice, wrapping up the episode. "But for now, see you all next time in the wilds of Animalia."
