Just as she begins to pick up one of these objects, she gets a phone call from her boss, Karen. She looks and the time and realizes she is 15 minutes from her shift at work. With barely any time to change clothes she gets herself presentable and heads in to an office building in the city. Riding the stuffy elevator up, she is greeted by her best friend Kylie and rushes to her desk. She calls Karen on the phone, getting some updates that she barely hears all the way through.
While ignoring Karen droning on, she looks at her desk and sees some of the items from her house have returned, but some of them have changed. Instead of a black and white liquid there is now a frothy brown shake, and instead of a sleep mask there is now a pair of very tasteless party glasses. Marina searched her desk for any sort of instructions or additional letters telling her about these mysterious items but found none. This begins to spark a little curiosity in Marina...
