While Ty continued his normal life without Dustin around, Dustin was sent over the Atlantic and ended up in a small post office in a city north of Vienna. The only problem was that the man responsible for delivering the package with Dustin inside wasnīt well that day, and didnīt close the car door completely. That resulted in it swinging back open after a couple of curves he drove around, and Dustinīs package was one of a couple falling out. Unlucky for Dustin, however, was that his package vanished down into the slope into some bushes, and the man didnīt find the package.
Because it was a country road with no parking space, nobody stopped anywhere near the spot, and so over time the bush grew around the package, so nobody could find it anymore. As Ty had sealed the package, he had made sure it wouldnīt be damaged by outside forces, so it remained sealed for years, leaving Dustin waiting in the darkness. Even with all the changes Ty made to Dustinīs mind, he hadnīt thought something like this would happen. And so, while Dustin was trapped, his mental state got so bad that if someone would now find him, he would be downright crazy. Not that he would be found.
And as Ty himself didnīt know where Dustin was send, not that he cared, nobody missed Dustin or even remembered him enough to search him. If he was ever found, it would be by pure luck, and whoever found him would regret freeing the trapped soul.
