Resume' of one Marvin J. Topple
To whom it may concern,
I would appreciate your accepting my resume on the format of my wish to join and become a helpful part is the advance of science. Although as one can see from the resume my marks were not high in the general science fields, I do have some farming in my background.
As a working part of your research I would work diligently to be of as much help in whatever way you might deem best.
Sincerely,
The Professor Haun read over the young man's resume and saw in him a fine start to his ultimate goal.
Two days later a twenty year old man walks up the step stone walk running from the road to the front proch of the main house. A smile on his face as Marvin is seeing the wealth which prevails the Sunrise Research buildings.
Soon he is greated by the Professor's housekeeper and walked to the study where he will be considered for work.
The Professor and Marvin converse for some time a when the basics are covered they get up to walk Marvin about the farm.
"Its an important part of working here that you find what part of our project interests you the most. I for one know that for one to excel in his choosen vocation, there must be a personal want." explains the Professor.
"Yes Sir, I believe that to be true. I too would like it for me to work directly in what would interest me most and stay there in that line of work till you need me elsewhere." replies Marv as he beams of pride for having been choosen for work.
The tour of the buildings brings Marvin before the skads of animals and new breeds he never knew even existed. At last the two sat on a park bench overlooking the distant pastures and wooded lands beyond.
"Well Marvin, did you see something of special interest?" asked the Professor as he hungthere waiting on Marvin's every word.
A sigh, "I can see your heavy into many types of animal husbandry breeding on animals used in daily farming. You have some exotic animals being bred for zoo's. I have in my past worked on a dairy farm and know just how dumb and filthy dirty cows do live their lives through! I was a pen sanitizer for the Happle Hog Farm for a summer. I spent a hot summer shoveling horse manure at the Mason's Fresian stable. I guess one against the other my first choice would still be to work with hogs and maybe in learning about breeding them." decided Marvin.
Surprised and thrilled the Professor smiled at the thought of having Marvin soon learning the ropes of Hog breeding, first hand!
